To set Issue Tracker for automatically taking a default problem category, type and status on newly generated tickets follow the steps:
1. Go to Issue Tracker toolbar or ribbon > My Option > My Preference
2. Specify a particular type of problem Category, Type and status which you want to associate to any newly generated ticket from your Outlook, by default.
For example, take the default settings in the snapshot below:
3. Save the setting and Sync the settings.
4. Then, generate a new ticket. In ticket form, under ‘Problem Information’ section, you will find that the drops down controls for Problem Category, Type and Status field are populated with your specified default values.
