To set Attachment Manager to ignore certain attachments types from getting detached, go to Attachment Manager > Settings > Exempted Extension.
You can define your own list of file extension and set Attachment Manager add-in to skip detaching attachment having those extensions.
For example, below is the file extension setting for selective detaching of attachments:
