While the PDF format is an excellent choice for storing and sharing documents, when it comes to extracting its content, such as images, it is not a straightforward task. You would have to work around this usability issue. The AssistMyTeam PDF Studio plug-in overcome this by allowing you to save all embedded images from the PDF as separate image files like JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and even multipage TIFF.
The first step is to select ‘Extract Images from Pdf‘ from the context menu of your Windows Explorer.

The App loads the page thumbnails of your PDF document, and each page thumbnail is accompanied by the page number caption along with the number of images found in each page within parenthesis. This makes it very easy to recognize which page has embedded images and how many of them in a quick glance. You can now swiftly export all images stored in the PDF into one of the popular image formats in just a few seconds. You can customize the image format from JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and multipage TIFF and resolution from 96 dpi to 330 dpi to export. Afterward, you can use the image individually, insert it into other file types, or edit it.

If you opt for a multipage TIFF image format, all the images from the PDF document will be merged into one TIFF file.
Optionally, you can also export images embedded in a particular PDF page only, by right clicking the page thumbnail and choosing ‘Extract Images to‘. This way you can export images that are of your interest from few PDF pages, without needing to export all of them from the PDF document, in bulk.
